The OCX accelerator is a critical engine for growth within the Open Campus ecosystem, serving as a bridge between two key groups: OCID learners and developers. Since its inception in Q4 2023, OCX has successfully cultivated 40 companies through four cohorts and onboarded thousands of OCIDs, with many more expected to join.

Companies who are part of the OCX accelerator cohorts are actively engaged in incorporating their entire user base into the OCID ecosystem. This encompasses a broad spectrum of educational institutions and platforms, ranging from preschools to universities, code academies, and platforms dedicated to lifelong learning. Incentivised by the OCX grant and financing these companies with both Web2 and Web 3 audiences are transitioning their users—be it young children, college students, professionals seeking skill enhancement, or adults pursuing continuous education—to become part of the OCID network.By converting their existing users to OCIDs, cohort members are effectively expanding the reach and impact of the EDU Chain dapps, creating a unified and interconnected community that spans the entire educational spectrum.

On the other hand, developers are the innovative force behind the creation of the dapps that serve these learners. OCX is instrumental in sourcing and nurturing these companies to join the developer community. By providing grants and financing through the accelerator, OCX incentivizes developers to build and scale their dapps on EDU Chain. This symbiotic relationship is crucial: as OCX attracts and supports more developers, it leads to a richer variety of dapps, which in turn attracts more learners to acquire OCIDs and engage with the platform.

OCX's role is to ensure a steady influx of both learners and developers, creating a vibrant and sustainable ecosystem. Learners benefit from an ever-evolving selection of educational tools tailored to their needs, while developers receive the support and capital necessary to innovate and grow. This dynamic interplay between OCID learners and developers, fostered by OCX, is what drives the continuous expansion and success of the EDU Chain platform.
